Attention
Deficit Hyperactive Disorder

It is a childhood-onset neurodivergent condition commonly diagnosed from age 5 to 15 years old, affecting around 8%–12% of all children globally (Premkumar, J., 2021)
The pooled prevalence of ADHD was observed as 63.2 in 1000 Indian children surveyed (Chauhan A. et al., 2022). It is commonly diagnosed 3 times more in boys than girls (Premkumar, J., 2021). Children with ADHD have been shown to surpass the recommended criteria of WHO for screen time which is over one hour per day (Vaidyanathan S et al., 2021)

It is characterized by predominantly three main factors:

inattention
hyperactivity, and/or
impulsivity
Individuals with ADHD will have problems with pragmatics, academic skills, visuospatial skills, problem-solving, memory, planning, and proprioception.
The assessment of ADHD has a set of processes involving questionnaires, teachers’ reports on academic performance, behavioral observation, neuropsychological examination, speech and language evaluation, and audiological evaluation. Based on the findings, a tailor-made therapy program will be provided for the individual to improve his/her skills to match up to their peers. Contact us to know more
